The Reserve Bank of India has released a list of holidays. With this list, you can easily know on which days the banks will be closed and on which days they will be open. However, states will have different holidays. 6 out of 13 holidays are due to festivals only. Goat Eid is a holiday on 1 August and its second day is Sunday. After this, Rakshabandhan has a holiday on 3 August. August 8 is the second Saturday and August 9 is Sunday.

Banks will remain closed for 13 days in August. The goat Eid holiday will be at the beginning of the month. Also, banks will have a holiday due to the 3 August Rakshabandhan festival. Banks will also be closed due to Krishna Janmashtami and Independence Day. In such a situation, if you have to finish any work related to the bank, then finish your work by looking at the list of these holidays.
