Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), which is India’s flagship energy major and a ‘Maharatna’ Central Public Sector Enterprise engaged in Exploration and Production of Oil & Gas in India
and abroad, as a measure of Skill Building Initiative for the Nation, proposes to engage apprentices at its location across 21 work centers. Applications are invited from candidates meeting the following qualifications for engagement as Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 (as amended from time to time) in the trade/disciplines mentioned below.

Educational Qualification for all posts:

Accountant: Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Government (Bachelor's). Accredited Institute / University.

Assistant: Bachelor of Human Resources degree (Bachelor in BA). OR B.B.A. from a government recognized institute/university

Secretarial Assistant: Business Stenography (English) / ITI in Secretarial Practice.

Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA): ITI in COPA Trade.

Draftsman (Civil): ITI in Draftsman (Civil) Trade.

Electrician: ITI in electrician trade.

Electronics Mechanic: ITI in Electronics Mechanic.

Fitter: ITI in Fitter.

Instrument Mechanic: ITI in Instrument Mechanic.

Information and Communication Technology System Maintenance: ITI in Information and Communication Technology System Maintenance.

Laboratory assistant (chemicals

Plant): B.Sc with PCM or PCB ITI in the lab. Asst (chemical plant) trade.

Library Assistant: ITI in Library and Information Science.

Machinist: ITI in the machinist trade

Mechanic (Automotive): ITI in the mechanic automotive business.

Mechanic Diesel: ITI in Mechanic Diesel Trade.

Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic: ITI in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade.

Plumber: ITI in plumber trade.

Surveyor: ITI in Surveyor Trade.

Welder: ITI passed in the trade of welder (gas and electric).

Diploma in engineering-related subjects from a government: civil, computer science, electrical, electronics and telecommunications, electronics, mechanical. Accredited Institute / University.

the wages:



● As per Apprentice Act, 1961, trainees are eligible for a monthly stipend.

Apprenticeship Rules 1992 as amended from time to time during the period of their engagement.



● The trainee is not eligible for any TA-DA/boarding or lodging expenses during the period of training. ONGC will not provide any financial support for transportation.



Age Range:

Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years 17/08/2020 (17/08/1996 to 17/08/2020).
