This update includes a series of new features and bug fixes specifically for iOS. The special feature that is being talked about in the latest update is that the videos seen in the user chat will get the facility of fast forward and rewind. It is said that the feature has been in testing since last year and is now being made available for both iOS and Android.
The upcoming WhatsApp update will allow you to fast forward/rewind a video by double tapping it, just like apps like YouTube. According to WhatsApp, this feature will be rolled out worldwide in the coming weeks. So in such a situation, if you haven't got it yet, you don't need to worry.
Apart from other updates, WhatsApp has also rolled out a feature to record and send video messages instantly in chat. However, this feature has been available for some time now, and now users can record a video message by long-pressing the camera button next to the text field to start a conversation.
Apart from this recently WhatsApp has launched another important feature for all users. Under the new feature, users can easily pin up to three messages in a chat. Earlier, there was only one limit for pinning a message in a chat. This update will make it easier for users to organize messages.
The ability to pin messages was introduced in December last year for both one-on-one and group chats. This feature can be used for all types of messages like text, images and polls.
