Assistance for Gujarat Solar Fencing Scheme
For the purchase of a Solar Power Unit/Kit, assistance will be provided to the farmer holding 50% of the total cost or Rs.15000/- whichever is less.
Farmers will be able to purchase the prescribed quality kits from the open market on their own.
Online applications will be accepted on a first come first serve basis within the target limit.
Assistance will be available once in 10 years for Sadar kit.
Date: 10-09-2022 to 09-10-2022 to avail of this scheme.

Farmers who have availed the benefit of constructing barbed wire fences are not eligible for this Solar Power Unit / Kit scheme.

Solar Fencing Scheme 2022 Application Procedure
First, go to the official website.
Select the Farming Plans option.
Click on the “Apply” option given against Solar Fencing Scheme 2022
Are you a registered applicant? A question will be asked to be answered in yes/no.
If not then register and apply as per the steps given in the above instructions
Select Yes if you want.
After entering the captcha number by writing the Aadhaar card number and mobile number and submitting, the OTP number will be sent to the registered mobile via SMS.
Type the OTP number and proceed.
Your information will populate, fill in the missing information and save the application.
Click to update the application if any corrections are required.
Now click on “Confirm Application” to confirm the application.
Print the confirmed application.
It is mandatory to take a printout of the application. You have to take a print of this application made by you and keep it with you. Pre-approval for purchase is given as per the application and you purchase the equipment/materials as per the pre-approval within the stipulated time frame as per the rules, all the supporting evidence mentioned in the pre-approval order and the supporting evidence mentioned along with the signed copy of this application have to be submitted along with the support proposal.
