Salary under the Agneepath scheme
The firefighters will be given an annual package of Rs 4.76 lakh in the first year. This package will reach 6.92 lakh in 4 years. Firefighters are paid Rs. 30,000 will be applied. In which 30% deduction i.e. ₹ 9000 PF and PF contribution of the same amount will be given by the government. After which a salary of ₹ 21000 per month will be paid. Salary will be increased by 10% in one year by the government. For the fourth year, Agniveer will be paid ₹ 40000 per month.
Apart from this, Agniveer will also be given a unit service fund of Rs 11.71 lakh after 4 years. Which will not be taxed.
