Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Jio has also increased the price of its prepaid plans. Earlier, Airtel and Vodafone Idea had also announced price hikes. According to a statement from Geo, the new tariff plan will be implemented from December 1 and can be accessed on all touchpoints and channels.

Geo has increased the prices of plans from Rs 16 to Rs 480. The new price of the old Rs 75 plan specially introduced for Geophone will now be Rs 91. The Rs 129 tariff plan of Unlimited plans will now be available at Rs 155. The prices of Reliance Jio's data add-on plans have also gone up. It will now cost Rs 61 for a 6GB plan with Rs 51 and Rs 121 for a 12GB add-on plan with Rs 101. Even the plan with 50 GB has now gone up by Rs 50 to Rs 301.

Which plan was the most expensive?
The highest increase of Rs 480 has been made in that plan with 365 days validity, which currently falls to Rs 2399. The cost of this plan will be Rs 2879 from December. In this annual plan, the customer gets 2 GB of data, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day.
