The main objective of this scheme is to provide self-employment opportunity to the educated youths and girls of the rural and urban areas and the disabled living in the state of Gujarat and for that, the cottage industries are being disseminated through Shri Vajpayee Bankable Yojana.

This Shree Vajpayee Bankable Yojana has been started to provide loans at very low rates to all individuals of the state to start their own business and become self-reliant.

Shree Vajpayee Bankable Yojana Loan Amount

Anyone who needs a loan for Industries Sector, Service Sector or Business Sector is given a maximum loan of ₹8,00,000 through this scheme.

The loan limits in these three sectors are fixed by the Cottage and Rural Industries Commissionerate Office, Gandhinagar.

Assistance on loans

Commissioner of Cottage and Rural Industry Gujarat has fixed different rates of assistance for different categories of beneficiaries.

25% loan assistance for general category beneficiaries residing in rural areas and 40% loan assistance for Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe ex-servicemen and women and persons with 40% or more disability.

20% loan assistance will be provided for general category beneficiaries residing in urban areas and 30% for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Ex-Servicemen/Women and 40% or more disabled persons.

Shri Vajpayee Bankable Yojana Eligibility

Beneficiary should be a native citizen of Gujarat state.

Beneficiary should have education up to 4th standard.

His minimum age should be 18 years and maximum 65 years.

Beneficiary should have received at least three months of training or training from the institution in relation to the work for which the loan is to be availed.

A person who has received one month's training or certification from a government recognized institution can also avail the scheme.

A disabled or blind citizen can also take advantage of the scheme.

Through this scheme, the beneficiary can take loan from the list of Vajpayee Bankable Yojana banks like Co-operative Bank, Public Center Bank, Private Bank and Nationalized Bank.

Any such scheme availed by other department will not avail the benefit of this scheme.

3. Click on Bankable Loan Registration option on its homepage.
4. If not registered on this portal before then click on registration.
5. Enter your mobile number and captcha code here.
6. Then register and get your login id and password.
7. Now after registration select Citizen Login options.
8. Enter your ID and password in it.
9. Now click on New Application button.
10. Now you have to select options of Shri Vajpayee Bankable Yojana.
11. Now read all the information given in the application form carefully.
12. Now fill the scheme details, project details, business details and finance required etc.
13. Now fill the rest of the information and click on save and next button.
